Let’s think of a story . . . well, this one has been told many times but it is my favorite.
A few summers ago, when our friend Brooke was still alive the two of them took a road trip up to see me in Wisconsin. When they were here we all went tubing down the beautiful—yet quite shallow Chippewa River. The interesting part was that at the spot we chose to start, the water was so shallow that we had to walk through the water to a deeper spot. We all kept slipping and falling and then just laying there in the rocks with the river rushing by laughing (we only finally got up because I yelled at them and told them they had to). When we finally made it to where we could float, it was the prettiest day of my whole life. THANK YOU for making it happen!!
